About Blake Mustain
Blake worked at TD Bank for 10 years as part of TD Wealth. He spent six years working as a Financial Services Representative and four as a Financial Advisor. Blake founded Sunrise Retirement Consulting, his own independent advisory, to help individuals plan for and meet their retirement objectives. He believes that building a sound financial plan is often more about managing fears and emotions, as well as taking on risks that align with clients’ financial goals.
As a retirement specialist, Blake’s approach is focused on understanding a client’s unique circumstances and creating a plan to help his clients enjoy stress-free lives. He is a fierce protector of their money. By creating a financial plan with someone like Blake, people can begin to let go of some of their fears and breathe easier when they think about their future.
“I’ve spent the last 10 years listening to clients’ concerns and trying to understand the issues they have. So I bring that same customer service to my practice, and even amplify it in terms of making myself more available.”
Whether he is in a meeting or otherwise occupied, Blake makes a practice of getting back to clients on the same day they leave messages for him. They always maintain top priority in his business. This level of care has forged close and loyal relationships with his clientele.
Away from the office, Blake and his wife enjoy spending time with their 16-year-old daughter, taking her on annual cruises and road trips. He has lived in South Florida for over 53 years and in Boca Raton for 40 years.
Blake studied Business while on a full golf scholarship to the University of North Carolina Charlotte, where he made All Conference. Afterwards, he played golf professionally for eight years.
Blake’s hobbies include cycling on A1A, as well as reading about history and global macro-geopolitics, and he is a longtime fan of the Miami Hurricanes and Miami Dolphins.
